As a leading global company in intelligent industrial connectivity, Weidmüller has always considered talent development a core component of its corporate social responsibility and firmly adheres to the philosophy of "empowering the industry through talent and promoting development through cooperation." On January 16th, Weidmüller's strategic partnership with Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "Hainan Bielefeld University") was further strengthened. Dr. Sebastian Durst, Global CEO of Weidmüller Group, visited China and, together with Mr. Zhao Hongjun, Executive Vice President and Head of Asia Pacific Region of Weidmüller Group, and Ms. Weng Yingzhi, Human Resources Director of Asia Pacific Region, held a "Connecting 2morrow" themed discussion with interns from Hainan Bielefeld University. This talent connection spanning 2000 kilometers highlighted Weidmüller's utmost importance placed on talent development and its deep commitment to industry-academia collaboration.

Hainan Bico University, as the first independent Sino-German bridge institution established in the Hainan Free Trade Port, focuses on a "practice-embedded" training model, aiming to cultivate versatile talents with both international perspectives and practical skills. This aligns perfectly with Weidmüller's "people-oriented" vision. Based on their shared philosophy of talent development, the two parties have established a long-term and stable strategic partnership. Weidmüller has created an exclusive internship program for Hainan Bico University students, and several students have already joined core departments such as product management, human resources, marketing, and IT, deeply participating in the entire process of company operations and honing their professional skills in real-world workplace scenarios.
